Description

Bactris rostrata (also called Beaked Palm, among many other common names) is a species of palm native to Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay. It is a medium-sized palm, growing up to 15 m tall with a trunk diameter of up to 25 cm. It is found in dry forests, savannas and grasslands.
