Description

Attalea speciosa (also called Speciosa, among many other common names) is a species of palm native to El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. It is found in wet montane forests at elevations of 1,200–2,000 m. It has a single, unbranched trunk with a terminal crown of leaves.
