Aiphanes horrida (also called Spiny Palm, among many other common names) is a species of palm native to northern South America. It is a small to medium-sized palm, growing up to 6 m (20 ft) tall, with a trunk up to 15 cm (6 in) in diameter. It is found in tropical rainforests and dry forests.
