Description
Trachymene anisocarpa (also called 'Anise-Fruited Trachymene' and 'Anise-Fruited Star Cactus', among many other common names) is a small, globular cactus native to South Africa. It has short, cylindrical stems with a diameter of up to 4 cm, and is covered with spines. It is found in rocky, dry areas and in grassland.
