Description
Polyscias mackeei (also called Mackee's Aralia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Araliaceae. It is native to China, where it is found in the provinces of Guangxi and Yunnan. It grows in forests and shrublands at elevations of 600–2,000 metres.

Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
The flower of Polyscias mackeei is small, white and fragrant. It has a yellow center and is surrounded by five petals. The seed is a small, round, black seed. The seedlings are small, green and have a single stem.
Cultivation and Propagation
Polyscias mackeei can be propagated by division of the clumps or by seed. When propagating by division, divide the clumps in early spring and replant in well-drained soil. When propagating by seed, sow the seeds in spring in a well-drained soil mix and keep moist. The seeds should germinate within a few weeks.
