Description
Hedera canariensis (also called Canary Ivy, among many other common names) is a species of ivy native to the Canary Islands. It has dark green, glossy leaves and can grow up to 10 meters in length. It is found in humid forests, woodlands and along riverbanks.

Hedera canariensis has been used as a natural insect repellent and as a natural insecticide. It is also used to treat headaches, nausea, and indigestion.
