Description
Xanthosoma plowmanii (also called 'Plowman's Elephant Ear' or 'Elephant Ear', among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Central and South America. It has large, heart-shaped leaves with white veins and can reach up to 2 meters in height. It prefers moist, shady habitats, such as tropical rainforests.
