Description

Theriophonum fischeri (also called Fischer's Theriophonum, among many other common names) is a species of orchid in the family Orchidaceae. It is a perennial herb with a single, erect, glabrous stem, reaching up to 40 cm in height. It is native to India, and is found in grasslands and woodlands.
