Description
Syngonium triphyllum (also called Arrowhead Vine, Nephthytis, Five Fingers, and Goosefoot Plant, among many other common names) is a species of aroid, native to Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. It is a climbing plant, with leaves that are usually arrow-shaped, and can grow up to 3 m in height. It is found in tropical rainforests, in areas with high humidity and temperatures between 15-30°C.
Cultivation and Propagation
Syngonium triphyllum is a tropical plant that is easy to grow and propagate. It prefers bright, indirect light and moist soil. Propagation can be done by stem cuttings or division of the root ball. Cuttings should be taken in spring or summer and planted in a well-draining soil mix. Keep the soil moist and the cutting in a warm, humid environment until it has rooted.
