Description
Rhodospatha perezii (also called 'Perez's Spindle Palm', among many other common names) is a single-stemmed, clustering palm species native to South America. It has a slender trunk with a diameter of up to 10 cm and a height of up to 4 m. It is found in the Amazon basin in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, growing in lowland rainforest and wet savanna habitats.
