Philodendron spruceanum has a flower with white petals and yellow anthers. The seed is a small, round, black seed. The seedlings are small and have bright green leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Philodendron spruceanum can be propagated by division of the rhizomes or by stem cuttings. To propagate by division, carefully separate the rhizomes and replant in a pot with moist soil. To propagate by stem cuttings, cut a stem just below a node and remove the lower leaves. Place the cutting in a pot with moist soil and keep in a warm, humid environment. The cutting should root in a few weeks.
