Description
Arisaema calcareum (also called 'Calcareous Cobra Lily', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant native to Southeast Asia. It is an evergreen, perennial herb with a single, large, heart-shaped leaf and a single, yellow-green flower. It grows in moist, shady areas, such as in the understory of rainforests.

The flower of Arisaema calcareum is a white or yellowish-white, star-shaped flower with five petals. The seed is a small, black, round seed. The seedlings are small, green, and have a single leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Arisaema calcareum is a tuberous perennial native to China. It can be grown in a well-draining potting mix and should be kept in partial shade. The plant should be kept moist but not wet, and should be fertilized regularly during the growing season. Propagation is best done by division of the tuber.
