Description

Arisaema auriculatum (also called Chinese Cobra Lily, among many other common names) is a tuberous, herbaceous perennial native to China, Japan, and Korea. It has a single, large, heart-shaped leaf and a single, large, yellowish-green flower with a hooded spathe. It grows in moist, shady forests and along streams at elevations of 500–1800 m.

Arisaema auriculatum is used in traditional Chinese medicine for treating rheumatism, fever, and headaches. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens.
