Anthurium formosum (also called 'Friedrichsthal's anthurium' and 'Painted Tongue', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Araceae family. It is native to Costa Rica and Panama. It grows in wet forests at elevations of 500–1700 m. It is an epiphyte, meaning it grows on other plants, usually on tree trunks.
