Description
Anthurium cerropirrense (also called Cerro Pirre Anthurium, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that typically grows up to 40 cm tall. It is native to Central America and is found in moist meadows, woodlands, and along streams. It has large, heart-shaped flowers with white petals and yellow centers.

Flower: White or yellowish-white, fragrant, with 5 petals, about 2 cm in diameter. Seed: Brown, ovoid, about 2.5 mm in diameter. Seedlings: Cotyledons obovate, about 4 mm long, 2 mm wide, apex rounded.
Cultivation and Propagation
Anthurium cerropirrense is an epiphytic plant that can be propagated from seed or division. Seeds should be sown in a well-drained, sandy soil mix and kept moist. Divisions should be taken from mature plants and planted in a well-drained, sandy soil mix. It prefers partial shade and moderate water.
