Description
Amorphophallus sylvaticus (also called Western Skunk Cabbage, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to North America. It grows in moist woods, swamps, and along streams, and has large, heart-shaped leaves and a tall, yellowish-green flower spike.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Amorphophallus sylvaticus has white flowers with yellowish-green petals and a yellowish-green pistil. Its seeds are black and round and its seedlings have long, narrow, light green leaves.
