Description
Ilex occulta (also called Chinese holly, among many other common names) is a species of evergreen shrub or small tree in the Aquifoliaceae family. It is native to China and found in forests, thickets, and along streams. It typically grows to a height of 5–10 meters, with alternate, leathery, dark green leaves that are ovate to lanceolate in shape and have serrated margins.
