Description
Plicanthus difficilis (also called 'Hairy-Stemmed Plicanthus', among many other common names) is an epiphytic fern species native to tropical regions of Central and South America. It is characterized by its long, hairy rhizomes and its fronds which are usually about 20 cm long. This species usually grows in humid, shady forests and is often found on the branches of trees.
