Cultivation and Propagation

Hippeastrum roseoalbum is a bulbous perennial that can be propagated by division of the bulbs in spring or by seed. The seed should be sown in spring in a well-drained, sandy soil in a sunny position. It is best to sow the seed in a greenhouse and then transplant the seedlings into individual pots when they are large enough to handle.
