Allium truncatum (also called 'Truncate Onion', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Amaryllidaceae. It is a bulbous perennial, growing up to 30 cm tall. It is native to the Mediterranean region, from Portugal to Turkey, and east to Iran. It is found in grasslands, meadows, and open woodlands.
