Ruellia woodii (also called Wood's Ruellia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Acanthaceae. It is native to tropical Africa, and is found in dry, rocky, and disturbed habitats. It is a twining, perennial vine with bright purple flowers and yellow centers. It can grow up to 3 m in length.
