Description
Lepidagathis chevalieri (also called Lepidagathis africana, among many other common names) is a small, herbaceous plant with a creeping habit. It is native to Central and West Africa and is found in moist, shady areas. It has small, bright green leaves and small, white flowers.
Cultivation and Propagation
Lepidagathis chevalieri is a fast-growing, evergreen, perennial shrub that can reach up to 2 m in height. It can be propagated from cuttings or by seed. Cuttings should be taken from healthy, non-flowering stems and planted in a well-draining soil mix. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining soil mix and kept moist until germination. The seedlings should be transplanted to individual pots when they are large enough to handle.
