Description
Justicia rohrii (also called 'Rohr's Justicia', among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Brazil. It has an erect stem, reaching a height of up to 1 m, with opposite, ovate-lanceolate leaves. It is found in the Atlantic Forest biome, in the states of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, in areas of high altitude, between 900 and 1,400 m.
Uses & Benefits
Justicia rohrii is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a houseplant. It is also used for medicinal purposes, such as treating fever, headaches, and skin ailments.

Justicia rohrii has small, white flowers with yellow centers. The seeds are small and black. The seedlings have small, oval-shaped leaves.
