Description
Justicia riopalenquensis (also called Riopalenque justicia, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the tropical regions of South America. It grows in dry areas, such as grasslands, and has a shrubby habit, with stems up to 1.5 m tall. Its leaves are lanceolate, with a serrated margin, and its flowers are white or pinkish.
Cultivation and Propagation
Justicia riopalenquensis is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that is native to tropical America. It can be propagated from stem cuttings and should be grown in a sunny position in well-drained soil. It should be watered regularly and fertilized with a balanced fertilizer. Pruning should be done in late winter to encourage new growth.
