Description

Justicia pubiflora (also called 'Hairy-flowered Justicia', among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Brazil. It has an erect stem, reaching a height of up to 1 m, with opposite, ovate-lanceolate leaves. It is found in the Atlantic Forest biome, in the states of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, in areas of high altitude, between 900 and 1,400 m.
