Justicia potamogeton (also called Water Willow, among many other common names) is an aquatic plant native to Central and South America. It has a creeping stem and can reach up to 1.2 m in length. Its leaves are lanceolate and up to 10 cm long, and its flowers are white or pink. It is found in shallow waters, swamps, and marshes.
