Description

Justicia guineensis (also called Guinea Justicia, among many other common names) is a shrub native to South America. It has a spreading, bushy habit and grows up to 3 m tall. Its leaves are oblong and have a toothed margin. It grows in open woodlands, scrublands and grasslands.

Justicia guineensis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a ground cover. It has also been used in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.
