Barleria monticola (also called mountain barleria, among many other common names) is a small shrub native to Southern Africa. It is a perennial, evergreen shrub that grows up to 1.5m in height. It has lanceolate leaves and bright blue flowers. It is found in dry grasslands, woodlands and rocky hillsides.
