Aphelandra claussenii (also called Claussen's Aphelandra, among many other common names) is a perennial evergreen shrub native to the tropical regions of Central and South America. It has large, glossy, dark green leaves with yellow bracts and yellow flowers. It is often found in tropical rainforests and humid areas.
