Aphelandra boyacensis (also called Zebra Plant, among many other common names) is an evergreen perennial shrub native to Brazil. It grows to a height of 1-2 feet and has long, narrow, pointed leaves with white stripes. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, and prefers moist, well-drained soils.
