Farmers can now enjoy a guaranteed value of CFA 1500 Francs (2.43) per kg, above the January 2024 guaranteed minimum of CFA Francs 1000 ($1.62).
Ivory Coast’s guaranteed price is final, farmers have to sell their cocoa beans at the set price. This means that for the current set price in April 2024 of CFA Francs 1500 ($2.43) per kg, only retailers/traders who sell the beans to grinders can make profit outside the guaranteed price.
